Introduction to Families

"Dear Family" message	Hello! My name is Alyssa W... and I am currently employed by a wonderful family with three children, Rachel will be 4 in March, Cordelia is 118 months and Kingsley was born Jan. 15, 2010. The baby comes home from the hospital soon and while the mother will need an extra hand until about March, after that I will be seeking full time employment again.
Why I would make the perfect nanny	During our day, we enjoy doing lots of arts and crafts, taking walks to the park or playing in the backyard, baking, dress-up and putting on puppet shows! I have many years experience changing diapers, preparing tasty, nutritious meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks) and creating a positive, fun and active atmosphere for your child. Most of my experience stems from assisting my mother with her home day care up until about 3 years ago when she got out of the business. Since then, I have done occasional sitting, along with the significant experience I have gained with the family I am employed by now. I believe that parent-nanny communication is key for creating a comfortable atmosphere for your children. As I continue down my current career path, I've begun to see so much of my mother in myself and how she taught not only her day care children, but myself and my sister as well - you eat what's put in front of you, treat other how you would like to be treated, mind your manners but above all else, learn, have fun, grow and explore.
